Dear Parents and Carers,
As we come to the end of a busy and rewarding spring term, I would like to take a moment to reflect on some of the wonderful opportunities and achievements our children have experienced. It has been fantastic to see so many pupils taking part in a range of exciting trips, enriching their learning beyond the classroom and creating lasting memories.
One of the standout successes this term has been our KS2 swimming programme. Having the pop-up pool on site has been a huge advantage, allowing all children to access high-quality swimming lessons in a familiar environment. We have seen a real boost in confidence, skill development, and enjoyment—something we are incredibly proud of.
Playtimes have also been enhanced with the introduction of new OPAL equipment on the playground. It has been a joy to see the children engaging in creative, active, and collaborative play, making the most of these new resources and developing important social skills along the way.
Looking ahead, we are very excited about the upcoming summer term. We have some fantastic gardening projects planned, giving children the chance to connect with nature and learn new skills. Alongside this, there are many events already in the diary, and we look forward to sharing these experiences with you.
Finally, we are keen to strengthen our school community even further and are looking for volunteers who may be interested in leading our PTA. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a real difference to the school and support the experiences we can offer our children. If you are interested, please do get in touch—we would love to hear from you.
Wishing you all a relaxing and enjoyable Easter break.
