Welcome to March! As we step into this new month, I am excited to share some updates and highlights from our school community.

Firstly, I am writing to express my overwhelming joy and gratitude for the opportunity to be Ascot Road's 'Official' Head Teacher.  It is with great excitement and anticipation that I step into this role, and I am truly honoured to lead such a vibrant and dynamic school community.  As the new Head, I am committed to upholding the values and traditions that make Ascot Road Primary unique while also fostering innovation and growth. I believe that every member of our community plays a vital role in the success of our school, and I am deeply committed to promoting a culture of inclusivity, respect, and excellence.

 I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to a selection of  Year 6 children, for their new Leadership role within the school. Each and everyone of them presented me with a letter of interest for the new roles advertised within our school. Your letters were not only well-written and articulate but also truly inspiring. It was evident from your words that you possess a deep commitment to our school community and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.  Your willingness to step forward and take on the responsibilities of leadership is commendable, and I have no doubt that you will excel in your new roles.  I look forward to meeting with you all to discuss the future of our school and  listen to your vision and ideas.

We have so much to look forward to this month at Ascot Road,  including World Book Day, Red Nose Day and the Bunny Hop.  Lets just hope the weather gets brighter for us all.
